Frequently asked questions
Why coordinate sprinklers and the fire alarm?
Sprinkler flow switches and supervisory switches trigger or signal the fire alarm. Testing them together avoids duplicate visits and missed items.
What is a backflow preventer?
It’s the device that prevents water from the sprinkler system from flowing back into the drinking water supply. Many municipalities require it to be tested every year.
